I am an american and converted to Islam in 2002. Isn't this a country of free speech?? Almost every single day when I get on the Brooklyn bound "J" train, a man get's on the train preaching from the bible. I have to sit there and listen to it and is the man ever prevented from doing this? No, he's not. Why not? Because of his constitutional right to free speech. I've never seen anyone on the train reading from the Quran. If such an action took place, they would probably be arrested for terrostic activity and taken away by Homeland Security. Where are the equal rights on this country????? I would like to know who is it hurting to have Islam ads on the subway??? It's okay to have condom ads and sex ads all over the city but heaven forbid their be a sign on the subway that says Headscarf? or Prophet Mohammad?
